Digital dentistry
Digital impressions without the tray full of impression material.
Detailed 3D digital scans of your teeth and bite give us an accurate foundation for restorative planning, without traditional impression material for many procedures.

Our TRIOS intraoral scanner creates a highly detailed digital 3D model of your teeth and bite by scanning directly inside your mouth.
Instead of relying solely on conventional impression trays and materials, we can capture the shape and position of your teeth digitally and review the resulting model right on the screen.
These digital impressions integrate directly into modern restorative workflows and can be shared digitally whenever collaboration with a dental laboratory or treatment partner is required.
Your digital scan can also become the starting point for select restorations created with our chairside milling technology.

Frequently asked questions
What is an intraoral scanner?
An intraoral scanner is a digital imaging device that captures the visible surfaces of your teeth and surrounding structures and converts them into a three-dimensional digital model.
Does TRIOS replace dental impressions?
For many procedures, yes. There are still situations where a conventional impression may be appropriate, and your dentist will choose the method best suited to your treatment.
Does the scan use X-rays?
No. TRIOS captures the visible surfaces of your teeth optically. It is different from an X-ray or CBCT scan.
What can my scan be used for?
Depending on your treatment, digital scans can assist with crowns, restorations, treatment planning, laboratory communication and other digital dental workflows.
